Application
Process
All applicants must submit the following:
(1.) Completed TAA Rental
Application
(spouses may submit one application)
(2.) Proof of Income
(each applicant
must provide either a verification of income or a completed TAA Lease Contract
Guaranty form):
Income Verification: Applicants who are employed may submit documentation
showing a verifiable gross monthly income totaling at least 3 times the monthly
rental amount (or 2 times the monthly rental amount for roommates). Documentation
may include paycheck stubs or a letter from employer on company letterhead. College
students may furnish documentation of financial aid, scholarships, assistantships,
etc.
Lease Contract Guaranty form: Applicants who do not meet the above income
requirement must submit a TAA Lease Contract Guaranty form completed by their
parent(s), other relative or legal guardian. The guarantor must have a gross
monthly income of at least 3 times the monthly rental amount.
*Note: We will
not process rental applications and guarantor forms unless all fields are completed
(including social security and driver’s license numbers) and all forms
are signed and dated.
(3.) Copy of photo identification
(e.g., driver’s
license or government identification card)
(4.) Application fee
($35 per applicant;
spouses with the same last name may submit one application fee). We use the application
fee to conduct a credit and criminal background check.
Upon approval, applicants
must pay the deposit in order to reserve a unit. The deposit is non-refundable
if applicant decides not to rent the unit.
